Case studies
Work, with the numbers attached.
A case study that cannot name the accuracy achieved or admit what the method could not see is an advertisement. Every project published here carries the measured result, the constraints, and the client's written permission to be described.
Why this page is empty
Not a lack of work. A lack of permission to describe it.
Most surveying contracts forbid photography, drone flight and naming the client without written consent. We will not invent a project, and we will not publish one without consent, so this section fills in as permissions are granted.
In the meantime, the equivalent detail is on the service pages. Each one states the accuracy, the deliverables, the process and the limitations in full, and the technical detail behind the claims is published openly.
What goes in one
The six things every case study has to contain.
01
The brief
What the client actually needed, in their terms, before anybody suggested a method.
02
The constraint
The thing that made it difficult. Access, time, weather, buried services, occupied site.
03
The method chosen
Why that combination of techniques, and what was rejected as a better fit.
04
The result
Measured accuracy, coverage, deliverables, and the date it was handed over.
05
What it cannot be used for
The limitations, stated as plainly as the capability.
06
The permission
Written consent for the description, the photographs and the figures.
These six are enforced in the content schema, not just written down. A case study missing its permission field, or marked pending, does not get built into a URL at all.
