Aerial & 3D Data

Aerial Mapping & Orthomosaics

Rectified aerial imagery: distortion-free, georeferenced and true to a national grid. A single mapped image of a whole site that you can measure from, import into your software and use as a drawing base.

Typical accuracy · Typically 2 to 3 pixels ground sample distance, controlled to within a few pixels.

When you need it

  • →You need a true-to-scale image base of a site or an estate.
  • →A boundary or an extent needs to be shown on imagery.
  • →Field teams need a mapped base to work from on a tablet.
  • →You need a record of site condition at a specific date.

What you get

  • Georeferenced orthomosaic in GeoTIFF, JPG or similar
  • Ground sample distance and stated accuracy
  • Alternative colour or band combinations on request
  • Control and processing report
  • Full extent or a clipped boundary, as required

How it runs

  1. 01

Define the extent and what the image will be used for.

  2. 02

Establish control and fly with sufficient overlap.

  3. 03

Process, mosaic and rectify to the national grid.

  4. 04

Check for distortion at the edges, then issue.

Questions we get asked

How current does the imagery need to be?

As current as you need it to be. For a condition record, older imagery is fine and cheaper. For an active site or a dispute, it should be recent enough to be relevant.
