Aerial & 3D Data
Multispectral & Agricultural Survey
Measuring light reflected by crops across several narrow bands, which makes plant stress visible before it is visible to the eye. Difference vegetation indices turn that into a map of where the crop is healthy and where it is not.
Typical accuracy · Indices are relative, not absolute. A representative ground calibration target is flown and used to make the data comparable, and stated as a limitation where none was available.
When you need it
- →Crop stress is appearing and you need to find where and why.
- →Irrigation or nutrient application needs targeting rather than blanket treatment.
- →Field performance is uneven and the cause is not obvious from the cab.
- →You need trial data or a baseline for comparison across a season.
What you get
- NDVI and NDRE index maps per field
- Multispectral orthomosaic on a common map
- Zone map for variable rate application
- Irrigation uniformity assessment
- Comparison across flights through a season
How it runs
- 01
Crop type, growth stage and what question you are trying to answer established first.
- 02
Calibration target placed and recorded, flight planned for relevant bands.
- 03
Flight and processing, indices computed and field boundaries applied.
- 04
Maps issued with interpretation, not just a coloured raster.
- Horizontal control
- ±10mm typical
- Vertical control
- ±8mm typical

Questions we get asked
Is this the same as satellite imagery?
Similar physics, completely different resolution. Satellite tells you a field is stressed. Airborne multispectral tells you which part of the field, at a resolution you can drive a sprayer with.
Do I need this for a small holding?
If you are trying to reduce input spend or diagnose a problem, the flight often pays for itself in one season. If your fields are uniform and unproblematic, it will not.
Where we cover
Norfolk based, working nationwide. Site-based surveying, so distance is rarely the constraint.
Available across every region we cover.
Every town, district and borough we cover is listed in full on each region page. See the full service area.
