As-Built & Completion Surveys
What was actually built, against what was designed. The final measured record that closes a job out, supports handover, and proves compliance with a permitted drawing.
Typical accuracy · ±15mm on as-built positions of constructed features, tied to ±10mm control.
When you need it
- →Completion needs demonstrating against a planning condition.
- →Handover documentation requires a final measured record.
- →You need to know whether the built position matches the design.
- →A defect claim needs an independent record of the finished work.
What you get
- As-built drawings with design and actual overlaid

How it runs
- 01
Obtain the approved drawings and the site control used during construction.
- 02
Survey the completed works before demobilisation.
- 03
Compare to design and quantify every deviation.
- 04
Issue the as-built record for handover and compliance.
- Horizontal control
- ±10mm typical
- Vertical control

Questions we get asked
Is an as-built survey the same as a completion certificate?
No. It is the measured evidence behind one. A building control body or approved inspector still issues the certificate; we provide the survey that supports it.
