Engineering Surveys & Setting-Out
Putting the design on the ground accurately and keeping it there. Control, setting-out, dimensional checks and re-establishment of control that has been lost, all delivered from a framework that other contractors can use.
Typical accuracy · ±10mm horizontal, ±8mm vertical, proved before setting-out begins.
When you need it
- →A structure is being set out and the stakes in the ground are wrong.
- →You need setting-out drawings and a surveyor on site to mark them.
- →Control has been destroyed by another contractor and work has stopped.
- →A dimensional check is needed before a pour or a precast lift.

Questions we get asked
My contractor says they set out themselves. Is that allowed?
It is your contract, not ours. But most disputes on site come from two parties using different control and different assumptions. An independent setting-out check costs very little against a structural error.
