Do I need an accredited expert witness?
It usually does, and we are set up for it. We are accredited to act as an expert witness for boundary disputes and have many years of experience in that role, which means we work to the duty the Court imposes: independence from the party instructing us, impartiality between the parties, and an obligation to report what the evidence shows even where it does not help our own client. If your case turns on a point outside surveying, we will say so at instruction stage rather than take it on.
Will you act for both sides?
No. Once we have taken instructions on one side of a dispute we will not act for the other.
