Finding objects that have detached or dropped from a structure before they fall onto someone. Aerial inspection of roofs, plant, cladding and tower elements, documented to a standard that satisfies the records an inspection regime has to keep.

Does this replace a rope access inspection?
It replaces it for aerial-reachable elements and identification of defects requiring hands-on access. Close-up and hands-on inspection is still needed to confirm the root cause of anything found.
